The Blahs

And now, I present, Canyon. Lover of all things food and the most ignored and pitiful member of our household. Come to think of it, I don't even think she got a bite of the cake.

I don't have any new photos to post because I left my stupid memory stick at home when we went into Baltimore last night. We had dinner in Fell's Point, which is my favorite part of Baltimore...on the waterfront with cobblestone streets and quaint stores, bars and restaurants. It was drizzling and cold and dark and we ate by a fireplace in a tavern overlooking the harbor. So, you'll just have to conjure up an image for yourselves!

Jo Anne and Jim left today. I always feel blah when our guests leave. We loved having them here! Becca had many tea parties with her "GeeGee" and "Papa" caulked our entire basement (score!) for us. Now it is back to the grindstone and figuring out how far behind I am on Christmas stuff. Funny thing is that I can't seem to get myself worked up enough about it to get started. The lazy gene has just settled on me completely (see also: Unable to Caulk Own Basement). We haven't seen the sun in a few days and it is hard to work up enough energy to do anything! So, I guess I'll amble over to the couch and lay around, slothlike.

That dinner sounds awesome. It makes me feel better just thinking about it.

If you figure out how to get more into the Christmas spirit, let me know!

It is funny, I don't remember seeing Canyon anywhere near the table.

I didn't even have the guests and I have the blahs. IT is the weather. Drizzle rain in December?? Plus, I was all ready for a fire, I couldn't get the stupid wood to catch fire because it was so wet. Then I went downstairs and for some reason, I can't get that one to work. Great, I am sure Randy will somehow blame that one on me.

being sloth like on the couch sounds nice. We have your weather too, but the views of the snow on the beautiful peaks makes it all worth it. Use you travel perks to get out our way!!

Ha! Ha! Ha! Andrea gave me a giggle inviting you to Arizona for winter weather. Ha! ha! Ha! I say force the Christmas spirit. Turn on some Elvis carols or your favorite opera Christmas diddy (do they make those?) and let Becca whip up some fudge for you! Maybe let Canyon like the bowl.

Did you know it was Kaye M. who got us started on the bunny cakes?
