Hugs, Scratches, Bluebonnets, Movies

Becca's boyfriend, RJ came over to play and Ashley and I made them hug each other. We spend a good portion of the time they have to play together posing them and trying to get cute photos. Pushy much?

I was up at 5 a.m. scratching my legs until I thought I might just go insane. After hours of Internet research I am nearly convinced I have Fifth Disease. I won't know for sure until next week, but I have the joint pain that goes with it--my right wrist nearly feels broken--and my symptoms a few days ago fit the descriptions of the virus. Plus, my mom, a third grade teacher, says my rash looks just like it--and she's seen it alot. So, that sucks. In about 5% of cases, it can cause miscarriage due to anemia and heart failure of the fetus. Grrrrreat. Nothing I can do to prevent it though, so I guess I just need to chill. And, maybe, just maybe, that isn't what I have. Although, I am usually never wrong in my Internet diagnoses!

Guess what is blooming in our neighbor's yard? That's right! Bluebonnets!

In other news, we have now watched Snow White approximately 123,383 times. I still can't believe how scary it is! That evil queen/witch is just awful! Who ever thought that would make a good story line for kids? I wish I could figure out a way to edit it out! I can't believe it has never been released on DVD, either. And, I'm actually contemplating introducing Cinderella, despite my Princess Problem. Because, damn. If it makes her happy and gives me a couple moments peace? It must be worth it. I'm such a sell out. Speaking of sell outs, what is with Disney? They have the dumbest ideas. Their whole "vault" thing? Is SO dumb. Do they not know you can find whatever you want on Ebay?

I think you are far enough along that if you get treated for the fifths disease you should be ok. I think it is more of a concern earlier in pregnancy.
I don't get the vault either. I guess it creates hype. Lame.

Also, I love that you made Becca pose in front of the tv. She is looking at you like you are crazy!!

There isn't a treatment though, for the Fifth's Disease! All they can do is do ultrasounds of the fetus to see if it is still doing well! ACK! I'm hoping that isn't what it is, or if it is, that nothing goes wrong!

Don't let her watch Peter Pan then. I saw bits of it when we were at a eye appointment for Maureen and just about died. Completely and totally politically incorrect.

I'm not even going to think about you having Fifth Disease. And if you do have it, I'm not going to think about any outcomes other than the one where everything is fine. FINE. Lots of times, it's fine. I'm certainly not going to PANIC the way I did when I was pregnant and thought I had it. NO PANICKING. Because it will be FINE.

No wonder I couldn't find Snow White on dvd at Target yesterday. What the heck? Why won't they do such a thing? Isn't Cinderella and all the others available that way?

On another note, Fifth's Disease sounds awful. I can't get over the fact that all this crap ALWAYS happens to you. You defin. have the worst luck when it comes to Texas travels.

Hope ALL gets better and that you get feeling well!

Ah! Deja vu! Just like photos of you and Andy at that age. You both came out really well in the partner picking, though. ;-)

We have Snow White on DVD, but we got it a long time ago and I think it is back the "the vault" as they put it. So whenever they release an older movie on DVD, we buy it before they take it off the shelves. Yeah, it is scary. We have it, but the girls NEVER watch it. That old hag scares me too! Get the 101 dalmations while it is still out. And look up that rash I commented on your last post!

I really hope you don't have Fifth Disease but holy cow - maybe you should avoid Texas for awhile (as sad as that sounds).

No Texas! You got it? You and that sweet little one growing inside you will be fine. Just fine. I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I know you are driving yourself crzy. There is nothing you can do other than be positive.

Oh no! I hope you don't have fifth's disease. How horrible that you got this before a holiday weekend and have to wait until the next week to find out what it is! I hope you are feeling better and have been able to have a good Easter.
