Unfortunate Turn of Events

Look what my kid unearthed from a closed box on a high counter and was frantically stuffing into her sugar-hole five minutes before naptime.
CAFFEINATED energy mints. She swallowed a few as I was trying desperately to get her to spit them out. I had numerous fingers in her mouth and I have the teeth marks to prove it. I was yelling at her about how these were BAD BAD BAD. She kept saying, "No. They're good." If she doesn't nap today because she just ingested the equivalent of 1/2 cup of coffee I am going to just drive myself to the nearest mental institution. And, don't bother coming to visit me. I'll be in a fetal position in the corner, rocking back and forth and moaning and I won't even recognize you.

It's Monday!! Becca, please save those for me - I sure could use a few caffeine candies right now. I bought a new energy drink after tasting a sample at Central Market, but I forgot I had it this morning! Coffee's not doing it today!

Thank heaven it was only caffeine -- and not toilet bowl cleaner!

this reminds me of a party about 20years ago and the hostess had out chocolate covered coffee beans and there were about 10 kids mostly under 5 years old had been eating them most of the nite (the mothers thought they where chocolate raisins) until Justine made the comment about Chocolate covered coffee beans.needless to say the kids were running the walls
Oh and HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

Too funny. I hope that she did nap. Ashlyn has only napped once over the past week. ONE NAP in SEVEN days! Not good.
