Could the Baby Be Type B?

We have a lot going on in our family this month. My sister, Susan, is graduating from college in Massachusetts. My brother, David, is graduating from college in Texas. My mom is retiring from school teaching and John and I are trying to get everything worked out so we can scramble all over the country, including to Florida (Sanibel Island) for a mini-vacation.

We leave for Massachusetts this weekend, then Becca will fly to Texas with my parents, who will shuttle her to Jo Anne and Jim to watch while I fly back here for another ultrasound appointment and hopefully hightail it to a sunny beach in Florida, if all goes well. After that, John and I will fly to Texas from Florida to get Becca and fly back here. And this is all going to have to be standby travel on graduation weekend and Memorial Day weekend. I wonder where we'll end up?? This could totally backfire.

And you know what? I'm pretty relaxed about all this. There was a time in my life (read: last year) that I would have been a complete wreck, making ten lists, freaking out, wringing my hands and not sleeping over such travel preparations. I sort of feel like I drank a few beers and plopped on the couch and lost all reason to panic. Ahhhhh......it's much better this way.

I hope all your travel arrangements workout for you! There's something about being pregnant that makes me more at ease in all aspects of life. Grammy Bonnie is right, it MUST be the hormones!

I'm so like you and it freaks my husband out. He hates that I'm so relaxed and go w/the flow. I used to freak. But, now, I know we'll get there. I traveled a ton w/o him and never missed a flight. Sometimes, I do sit on my butt too much and watch him pack (hey, he's a pro-packer). But, for the most part, traveling, over time, has eased the panic episodes I went through in the past. I still hate flying with kids, but, I don't spend any time worrying about it anymore. I more worry about what kid is going to ruin lunch, dinner, sight seeing, etc. when we arrive...enjoy yourself. You certainly deserve it.
