Energy Highs and Lows

I've been such a slacker on updating lately. I don't even know why because lots has been going on. My mom is here for a nice, long visit. We toyed with the idea of going on a trip somewhere, but decided we would stay around and do local touristy stuff. Yesterday we went down to Annapolis. If I were richer, I would live there! Or, if I thought I could live without a garage, driveway or yard, or fourth bedroom. But, alas! I can't stand those thoughts and so we are relegated to rural/suburbia where the weekend soundtrack is leaf blowers and lawn mowers. But at least Annapolis is just down the road for visiting. It still isn't all that kid-friendly, but hey! Kids grow up, right? We don't need children's menus or stores with wide aisles that fit double strollers, do we? Not when it looks like this. We took a quick boat ride tour around the harbor and Naval Academy. It was really nice to be out on the water!

After returning home, all sweaty and bedraggled, and trying to take a quick nap, Mom and I went out to see Sex and the City. Mom has only seen one episode of the show, and she enjoyed the movie. She and I were both crying. I LOVED it. I was prepared to not like it, since I'd read some kind of "blah" reviews on it. But, I really did think it was fun. Although, I can't figure out how a pregnant Charlotte can possibly look so put together as a stay-at-home mother of a three year old.

So, after all that action, I can hardly function today. I've been telling everyone how great I feel right now. I don't have many pregnancy aches and pains all of a sudden. I don't feel overly sleepy. Apparently I only feel that way when I hang around and take it easy. Today my eyelids are at half-mast and I keep saying "Is it naptime yet?" I've tried to drink coffee, but feel to sleepy to try to lift that heavy mug. My mom is totally entertaining Becca while I lay on the couch moaning about how tired I am and counting down the minutes until naptime (currently 45). God, pretty soon I'll be feeling that sort of tired feeling 24 hours a day for months on end. Oh dear. At least I have a comedian to keep me laughing. Here is Becca "getting married" in my sheer swimsuit coverup sarong thing.

Yeah, coffee didn't do much for me either. But I still drank it none-the-less. I absolutely love Becca's smile. She is so pretty. Doesn't surprise me any!

I am so jealous that Nanna is visiting. I am trying REALLY hard to get our Nana out her next week.
I love that you "tourist" through your state. I am seriously going to have to start tagging along, just to see the area.

Random comment, but Becca is really starting to look like Susan.

WATER! BOATS!

Also, where is your belly? I have seen nothing (besides ultrasound pictures) to indicate that you are pregnant! I bet your tummy is tiny...
