More Than A Month Still?

Taken yesterday, on a better day.

Please excuse my whining, but there is no way I can do this for another 5 weeks. I have hit the wall. I am done. D.O.N.E. And it is weird, because I don't feel nearly as huge as I did when pregnant before....but yet, I feel much more worse.

I won't go into my long list ailments, but I will say that I have a new one from last time. My feet. They are KILLING me. They hurt as soon as I put any pressure on them at all. And standing? And walking around the grocery store? Forget it. Maybe I need to find something other than these nasty Teva flip flops to wear.

Maybe it is just today and tomorrow will be better, but LORDY. I can hardly function today. I took Becca to the grocery store and came home and unloaded the groceries and I swear to you, it almost killed me dead.

Thank God John was home because he took over and I just went to bed. And now he is bathing Becca and vacuuming. Maybe I should almost die from grocery shopping more often!?

I am singing in church on Sunday and I cannot figure out what I'm going to do about shoes. I tried some of my heels on yesterday and couldn't wedge my sausage feet into them. But somehow Teva flip flops just don't go with "Pie Jesu..."

When they see your condition, the congregation will understand your Teva flip flops!

I think you still look awesomel! Oh and with Becca, you were still oblivious to the rest of the pregnancy. Now you know what is going to happen. You also don't get to sit down when you want and you have Becca CONSTANTLY touching your belly in some shape or form (or foot). There is no love with the second pregnancy. Of course the bright side is you are not in Texas with 100 degree heat while you are 8 months pregnant!! (sorry I changed into Pollyanna for a minute)

Go to church barefoot, your barefoot and preggers.

You really do look awesome, even if you don't feel it at all. Sorry about your feet! Five weeks can seem like an ETERNITY at the end of pregnancy. But it will get here. It will!

Screw it and wear the Teva flip-flops! You have this beautiful pregnant glow about you and not a soul would even notice what you were wearing on your feet! Plus, Teva's look like Jesus shoes anyway....he would be happy!

Wear WHATEVER WORKS on your feet. Everyone makes huge allowances for pregnant women.

I remember the last few weeks of any pregnancy is unbelievable. What I do is get a really absorbing TV show on DVD (Agatha Christie mysteries, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Gilmore Girls) and watch it all evening every evening. Then it becomes a symbol of One More Day Done With.

You do look great. As for the shoes, maybe ballet flats would work? A friend of mine here says those are her only shoes that fit.

You look so cute, I still think you are one of the cutest pregnant women ever. Only a month left - I can't wait to hear if it is a boy or a girl!!!
