A: Obsessive blogging by me.
Hey. Everyone needs contact with the world outside their hovel of filth and dirty diapers and screaming children and socks sticking to the kitchen floor. Even people who haven't been outside and haven't showered and haven't slept more than an hour at a time and cannot fathom getting both kids dressed and loaded up to go somewhere. God, I love the Internet.
Yesterday morning, in a desperate attempt to Not Be At Home, we went over to Tracy's. While there, we tried to photograph the poor, unsuspecting baby in a variety of Anne Geddes-like poses. We had multiple backgrounds, multiple props. Multiple lighting scenarios. I think we pissed him off.
Y'all are conplete and total freaks. And I've had it.
But, all was not lost. Tracy got some wonderful, wonderful shots. Only my mom and Tracy would have understood the magnitude of yesterday's photo session. You really do have to take about 200 photos to get a couple awesome ones, especially after you delete the 120 shots that show my postpartum double chin. So, while today's One Thing was supposed to be cleaning the floors, or possibly just showering, instead I'm going to open PhotoShop (Internal Voice of Reason: Noooooo! Don't do it! You'll never return. Your socks are stuck to the floor. You should mop......Aaaaaaaaaaa....) I will post the good photos soon.
