Update But I Should Be Cleaning the House

Wow. Blogging has some unexpected bennies. Tracy read my post yesterday and offered to keep Becca all afternoon so I could come home and nap in (relative) peace. Andrew cooperated as well. I realized how much I worry about keeping the house quiet so Becca will nap. And how much time I spend listening..."Is she awake?" It was so nice to just worry about me. It was heaven. I felt much better after that! Thanks, Tracy!

Last night was definitely better, although Andrew was WIDE THE HELL AWAKE from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. He was grunting and squirming and fussy. So, we came downstairs and rocked and swang (swang? Is that a word?) and snacked....finally, FINALLY he fell asleep at 5 a.m. Then, at 5:45 a.m. John's alarm clock went off accidently (he has the day off today). Nice.

I do feel better today, though, and I thank y'all for your comments about not feeling guilty about the TV watching. I can't help but feel guilty, but at least I know I'm not alone!

John has Becca at the gym right now, so I have a few moments to try to frantically clean the house while Andrew fusses over his "tummy time." Must run. No time for blogging.....But here's a picture, just for fun.

What I like to do in the middle of the night....

OH THE CUTE. I can see how it would be less cute at 3:00 a.m., but it takes WORK to see it with the sound off.

Nothing like leaving the kids in front of the TV watching something educational like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny or Jonny Quest or Better yet the 3 stooges.

He's cute, even when he's crying! I know it's easier said than done to remember just how CUUTE they are in the middle of the night when they won't stop screaming!

Each passing day will hopefully get better and better!

I love that you stopped to take a picture of the freak out. That is one for the album!! Soon enough he will be sleeping too long and your crazy mom self (we all have that tendancy) will be in there checking to see why he hasn't woken up yet. Then you will appreciate it and go back to bed!!
