FINALLY!

Andrew had his best night sleeping thus far. He slept from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m. Then, from 2:42 (who is watching the clock?) until 5:58 a.m. YES! So, basically he only woke up once last night.

And I slept in my bed. And he didn't. Victory is mine. I win!

Do you see the plates in his head? That is just weird, man.

We've been enjoying having Jo Anne here. She has held and soothed and rocked the baby. She has played princess and tea party with the preschooler. I got to get a pedicure and a haircut. I win again! YES! I brought in a photo of this haircut, from an actress on my favorite show.My hair looks NOTHING like this. Neither does my chin, come to think of it. My hair has more of this look to it (though a little bit longer) from an actress on my favorite show from the 90s.Oh well. Nothing like being (more than) a decade outdated....

I don't know why, but any hair stylist who tries to give me "long layers" ends up giving me this giant chunk on one side of my head. Hair stylists from Alaska to Korea and everywhere in between and in every price range. I just don't get it! I'd take a picture of myself, but I haven't showered today (see also: newborn in the hiz-ouse and a slacker mom) so you'll just have to imagine it.

Alright, so I'm not holding out ANY hope for tonight. I cannot get the child to sleep at all. I have been rocking/nursing/cuddling with him for about 3 hours now and he will NOT fall asleep and stay that way for longer than 4 minutes.....ARRRRRRGH!

Okay, I feel the same way about Jen's 90 do. I feel like every hair cut I gets ends up just like hers. I will be way out dated with you.

Gotta see a photo of the hair!

How about going with the Hippie look - long, straight, unlayered hair parted in the center? It would look so cute on you and can be accessorized with multi-colored sweat bands. No more trips to the hair salon - John can keep it trimmed.
