Standard

It isn't yet 7:00 a.m. and both my children are awake. I have been up since 5:30 a.m. Andrew is crying in his swing. Becca is playing in her bed. I'm wondering why I'm blogging before starting the coffee. God, I should have just gone and gotten in line to vote at 5:30 a.m. this morning! I could have knocked that task out first thing instead of laying in bed listening to Andrew cry and wishing I were sleeping.

Life has been kind of a "Groundhog Day" type thing recently. We aren't getting out much and we aren't sleeping much. Not much to report.

Today is preschool (Hallelujah!) and a doctor appointment for me. I plan to vote and put away piles of baby laundry, and that's about it. I'm starting to wonder if I don't know how to put on diapers, because we certainly have a lot of blow outs around here.

Jo Anne is coming out tomorrow and we're all very excited! Andrew is starting to smile (he has dimples!) and coo a little bit. He's sleeping in his crib a little better, but not for very long stretches. We're just kind of plodding along!

I feel like I'm plodding along too....basically the "waiting game" at this point. Pretty boring if you ask me. I'm in fear of my water breaking out in public, so I try to stay close to home as much as possible.

Hope voting goes smoothly for you today!

You are not putting the diapers on wrong. After reading your blog, I think maybe it's a boy thing. Not sure which ones you're using but Pampers Swaddlers worked the best for us to contain the blowouts. Hang in there....that part gets better. Happy voting!

Take a picture of your kids on their first presidential election day ever!

Make sure you run by Starbucks and get your free coffee for voting.
This post will be a good one to look back on in a few years. Once he figures out the sleep thing, you are going to be free sailing (more or less)

Happy Voting! Hope it all goes smoothly!

At least you have lots of good blow out stories and ammunition for when Andrew starts dating!

I think blow outs are definitely a boy thing! Groundhog day, sounds familiar around here too :0)

So your kids didn't get the memo on the time change either? Yep, same here. Ugh.

Its a different sort of Groundhog Day around here, but Groundhog Day nonetheless. Just a different flavor.

There are days I would trade with you.
