Help! I've been cooking for 6 hours and can't stop....
All Christmas cookies need sparkly purple and pink princess icing
I haven't sat down much in the last 6 hours. Unless you count nursing the baby (twice) and testing out our new webcam with Jo Anne. (It worked--after John fussing around with our downstairs computer for about 36 straight hours.)
So, basically, my feet and back are killing me. But, I have made the following: Two Kahlua cakes King Ranch Chicken Casserole for dinner tomorrow Chili for dinner tonight Sugar cookies (for Santa) Fruit Salad Breakfast casserole
How does that take 6 hours? Seriously? I don't have the time or inclination to make the orange chocolate quickbread I had planned.
I guess it is kind of a pseudo-Tex-Mex Christmas....with the chili and king ranch and Texas shaped Christmas cookies. All hearts go home for Christmas.Although this heart is really glad it isn't standing in an airport security lane with two kids, wondering if there will be enough room on the flight.
Becca is in bed, awaiting Santa's (early) visit tonight. I will post again tomorrow. Merry Christmas, and to all a good night.
