Help! I've been cooking for 6 hours and can't stop....

All Christmas cookies need sparkly purple and pink princess icing

I haven't sat down much in the last 6 hours. Unless you count nursing the baby (twice) and testing out our new webcam with Jo Anne. (It worked--after John fussing around with our downstairs computer for about 36 straight hours.)

So, basically, my feet and back are killing me. But, I have made the following:
Two Kahlua cakes
King Ranch Chicken Casserole for dinner tomorrow
Chili for dinner tonight
Sugar cookies (for Santa)
Fruit Salad
Breakfast casserole

How does that take 6 hours? Seriously? I don't have the time or inclination to make the orange chocolate quickbread I had planned.

I guess it is kind of a pseudo-Tex-Mex Christmas....with the chili and king ranch and Texas shaped Christmas cookies. All hearts go home for Christmas.Although this heart is really glad it isn't standing in an airport security lane with two kids, wondering if there will be enough room on the flight.

Becca is in bed, awaiting Santa's (early) visit tonight. I will post again tomorrow. Merry Christmas, and to all a good night.

That would TOTALLY take six hours if you add the nursing and childcare to the mix. In fact, that is REALLY GOOD for only six hours!

I L.O.V.E. Beccas hair up in a ponytail. We will be doing cookies tomorrow with the girls. (procrastinate much?) Tonight Randy helped me make 4 other kinds of cookies.

Merry (early)Christmas! If you see Santa, make sure he is sent our way!(you know we are kind of in the country! we do have a flock of wild turkeys in our neighborhood.)

You are so brave to let Becca decorate cookies with you! I fear Kate's help in that arena.

And Swistle is right - that is a LOT done in 6 hours with 2 kids!

Merry Christmas!
