Baby Spoons!? I am NOT ready for this!

We gave Andrew his first "solid" food tonight. Though, really it was just liquid on a spoon, but since it had a few rice cereal flakes in it, it counts!

Becca was SO excited to feed her brother. "Can I pour it? Can I stir it? I want to use this spoon. Can I stir it with this spoon? Mom? Can I use this spoon? Can I stir it? Can we feed it yet? How about now? Can I feed him now? With this spoon? No. I want to use this spoon. Can I use this spoon? Is it time to feed him now?" Wow. I wasn't anticipating that level of participation....She only stuffed the spoon down his throat causing him to gag once. Then, he ate it up. No problems! We are offcially OUT of the newborn phase. I can no longer delude myself. And yes. His bouncy seat is propped up on a My Little Pony/Princess Dolls toy bin. Poor second child. It is straight-up ghetto around here for him.

Before you know it, he'll be banging that spoon on the table and demanding more food. Johnny LOVED to feed Maureen, he too gagged her with the spoon. Cute pics!

Hey, Katie! Can we come and feed Andrew, too? We're going to look at(not buy)a timeshare in the D.C. area and they've promised us three nights at a hotel there the Tues./Wed./Thurs. after Memorial Day. Once we've seen the monuments and museums, we'd love to come visit you again (the weekend after Memorial Day) if it's convenient. If not, you've got three months to plan other commitments.
Love,
(Great) Aunt Linda

Cute bib. Cute kids. Where have the months gone? The newborn phase does go by too quickly!
