I'm in TexMex Heaven

So far, I've eaten stacked blue corn tortillas layered with roast chicken and cheese and topped with sour cream and a tomatillo sauce and accompanied by a margarita on the rocks with salt. And, this morning I had breakfast tacos from my favorite place--which used to be our hangover breakfast place of choice, back in the day...bring on the grease! I always order the bacon, cheese and potato (no egg!) on freshly made tortillas and topped with homeade salsa. Today I tried it with guacamole on top. Best of all, the kids slept until 7:24 a.m. this morning. Can you hear me purring?

P.S. You should see the contents of my suitcase. Everything is thrown in every direction and I can't find anything. I really, REALLY do not know why I pack so neatly. It is pointless. Remind me of that next time I travel. kthxbye

Last time you talked about TexMex food we ended up going out for Mexican for dinner cause you gave me a craving. Now I'm craving again. And I'm sure what we get up here in Washington doesn't compare to what you are getting. Darn it I'm hungry.

On the packing thing, yeah I've totally given up on being organized. They trash it all to hell anyway so why even try.

Oh my sounds heavenly! Of course, you are missing the best weekend of the year here! AMAZING temperatures (just as an example, i have all my windows open and have shorts on *gasp*~~ really its just for sunning these horribly white legs, but I have taken off the fleece jacket. and sunscreened the kids..HELLO Late spring! Come to my house anytime!

Haven't had TexMex in forever!!! Gosh, can't even remember when! Now you have me craving what I can't get here!

Packing! Don't get me started. DH is on a packing frenzie and I'm about to freak out on him. He wanted our bags packed and weighed today for a "test" run. Trip is Wednesday. Whatever. I'll pack between now (I have started) and Tuesday night and all will be good. I keep promising him this and he doesn't believe me...

Oh, the kicker: Two bags for the ENTIRE family for a 10-day trip to Ireland. Must bring laundry detergent!

Who cares about the suitcase, you are drowning in yummy Tex-Mex. That's all that matters.
