Now What?

How was your Christmas? I hope it was merry! Ours was merry. Yes. It really was. After all the hoopla that caused me to pen the following ditty.

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me

one strep infection

two snotty noses

one stomach virus

one ruptured ear drum

three doctor visits

one minute clinic

two antbiotics

two cancelled house guests

one cancelled dinner

working on Christmas

and an allover body rash.......

Somehow, through force of will, we managed to pull off a fun Christmas for the kids. Rebecca got her first American Girl doll, Felicity.

That means I have one more person to dress in the morning and to put in her pjs at night. But aren't they cute?

There was also a toy piano, a big horse, zhu zhu pets, a toy dog academy and lots of other excess and fun.

 Andrew got a bag to put on his head. He was happy.

John got an iPad and a fun allergic reaction to amoxicillin. 

Now I am realizing just how busy and amped up I have been since mid-November. I suddenly am faced with the realization that I don't have any big thing to be doing/planning/stressing about. And, I must say....it is kind of disconcerting. And kind of nice.....
