Bring on the Vittles and the Sparkles

Whew! I think I'm in the second trimester "energy zone." Though energy amounts are all relative.... I'm still pregnant, afterall. I'm not about to go out for a jog, or anything insane like that. And I most definitely wouldn't want to pull a muscle cleaning house, or something equally stupid. But, I am no longer nauseous. I am no longer dying of sleepiness all day. I still manage to lay down for an hour or so, but I no longer require the 2 hour naps. I feel pretty decent most of the time, except for the sudden, crippling ass pain known as sciatica. And, oh Lordy, can I eat. (Yes! Yes she can!)

Today's craving is:

Tater tots with melted Land O' Lakes American cheese on them. And, it has to be Land O' Lakes. From the deli.

In other news:

Barney is totally out. Dora is out. Disney princesses are in, as of last week. I couldn't gather it all for photographing since she insists on sleeping with her new princess board books and the dreaded yellow nightgown. Damn, that was fast. My Princess Resolution is officially defunct. Gag gag gag. On second thought, maybe I'm not fully over the nauseousness.

I used to crave Tater Tots, but never thought to put cheese on them. Wish I had. I think before you know it Becca will be out of the Princess phase (for Julia it was in the last year or 2) and into fairies or mermaids and then it will be Hannah Montana or Hannah Montana II and whatever comes next.

Liv likes princesses, in theory. Wears the dresses but won't watch the movies anymore b/c they have "bad guys." I think my DH letting her watch Lord of the Rings with him freaked her out as far as ALL bad guys go. Even Cruella Deville.

Liv's bed is never made. Is Becca's? I can't make it. She has an anxiety attack. Her bed contains dolls, princess shoes, books, her turtle (shines stars on the ceiling), and who knows what else. Everything has it's place and if I move it, I get get in big big trouble. I gave up a long time ago.

Tator tots with cheese. Yummy! But, glad I didn't think of it. The pan of brownies each night was enough to throw me into insulin over-drive/kill. I still can't believe my kids made it out alive.

Welcome to princess central. Do you need a tour? I have been a tour guide in the princess world for about 2 years now. I am sorry to say once you have entered in, it is a VERY long tunnel with the light at the end NO where in sight. Sit back enjoy the ride, (but keep your hands and feet inside at all times!)

Oh and the best part, when John ends up knowing it by heart and carries on a conversation with Becca, you or someother daddy about a particular princess movie..

That's a lot of princess stuff! Wow.

Mmm, tater tots. Taco Time mexi-fries - those are the best IMO. Sonic is also a close second. Delish.

You got the princess stuff FAST. Ashlyn was well stocked at Christmas.

I didn't realize that there was a standard when it came to American cheese. I'm glad that you are feeling better, though still feeling pregnant.

Bring on the tiara's!

Just pray that Hannah Montana isn't going to be the next obsession.

Well...I must admit that right now I am pretty thankful for my BOY. I hate disney princesses and will not tolerate them. Yes, I am a anti-princess-ite. I do have to put up with the constant quest of catching bug. Playing cars, watching the movie Cars, playing trains, and eating grapes. I am starting to dislike grapes...

I always wanted some of those crappy Disney high heels, but never had any. I am now officially jealous of my niece.
