I've eaten tamales, drank Corona and Shiner beer, stayed up way too late talking every night, gone to my favorite grocery store--Central Market-- to taste all the free samples and taken two naps. No wonder I love coming back to Austin to visit!
Becca loves all the attention. Tonight she and Grandpa Jack are going to make a pie. I'm going to sit on the couch and read a magazine from cover to cover. Yes!

I was just at Central Market the other day and I LOVE it too. I also went to the one off of 36th and Lamar. I love how you can by the food that is all diced up for you and ready to just put on the grill or oven. It's like you're cooking, but not. Andrew's been dishing out compliments left and right about my cooking lately...if he only knew!
Did you hit up all the cute little shops in the area too?
Excellent choice on the Shiner. Add a Freebirds burrito and I'd be all set.
Hey... how about sending some of the creamy jalepeno dip from Chuy's to OK with Craig? Tex Mex just isn't the same outside Texas.

Tracy - does Cait call Becca 'Becca boo'? How funny! I have a neice who is named Bekah and she always wanted to be called Bekah Boo.
EVERYONE calls Becca "Becca Boo." It is like just a natural nickname for Becca or something. We called her that early on and then others would call her that without ever even hearing us do it. It is so weird!
Heaven! Having Becca here to make pies with her Grandpa Jack is just the absolute BEST!
Thumb tack alert!! Katie is thumbtacking dark sheets to the windows to help Becca sleep in the early morning. Katie almost chopped her head off in the ceiling fan. Wish you all could see this...
