I have finally sprung into action, calling utilities, gathering paperwork, starting to pack and sort. John is glad to have the old Katie back--the Katie who puts on something other than pajama pants and bosses everyone around making sure stuff actually gets done. Unfortunately, the result is a giant mess and a comatose Golden Retriever.
Rebecca is trying to "help" by pulling all the books off every bookshelf and strewing everything she can from here to eternity.
So, to the untrained eye it may appear that I am actually going backwards in terms of progress, but if you kind of close your eyes and squint and try not to stub your toe on the misplaced toy basket, you might be able to see the hidden organization. Maybe.

Man. I was thinking my room was actually pretty neat, but it is more definitely messier than your "messy" house! There are toys, books, a dog and a bag on the floor, and aren't toys, bags and dogs supposed to be kept there??
It actually looks better in the pictures than it does in person. But, you're right...I don't know where else to put the dog.
You are so organized...I don't even see a mess!
